Review:
Ugh another stupid found footage horror film/mockumentary. And not even a good one. To me the only genre that is more over used than zombie films is exorcism films. There are like 10 a year & usually only 1 is decent or good. Well this one is one of the 19 that aren't good. The story is worn out, unoriginal & boring. The acting is bad, unknown actors portraying "real" people can only work in so many films before it becomes lame. I will admit that there are some very good camera angles & shots while they are performing the exorcisms. There are some good visual effects as well. But overall the good effects aren't enough to save a lack of plot, story or bad acting. Lack of scares also doesn't help. If you want a good mock/found footage exorcism movie see "The Last Exorcism" instead of this one. Another thing that really makes me mad is when they insist on trying to convince you that this isn't just a movie & that it really is based on true facts. With all of the found footage movies that have been made over the last 5 years, who the hell are you trying to kid with this whole "find out the truth by going to...." shit at the end of the movie.
