Review:
So this one picks up a little bit after number two. Alice had escaped the Raccoon City science lab she was being held captive in. The rest of her crew had gathered up survivors as the T-Virus spread to the entire world. They travel around in a convoy of vehicles searching for food, gas & a safe place to hide. So the story is similar to the previous film. Survivors are trying to hide & escape, Umbrella is developing a monster or in this case monsters to unleash. Alice's powers get more powerful, she shit kicks a bunch of bad guys. She discovers that there might be a place in Alaska where the infection hasn't reached so she convinces the group, who are lead by Ali Larter, that they should attempt to go there, while she decides to go after Dr. Isaacs, who has been the one attempting to kill her for two films now. His newest attempts to build a super race of mutants back fires & he is infected with the T-Virus, so he injects himself with more of the virus to develop himself into a super human, almost indistructable mutant to fight off Alice. Eventually it leads to the big show down, she kills him fairly easily, terrible payoff. Then she discovers that he has been communicating with other Umbrella fascilities around the world, set mainly in Tokyo. A side story to the plot is that the way they were developing these super mutants was by taking Alice's blood & injecting it into the new mutants. But in order to keep the blood flowing they needed to clone Alice. So they make literally about a million Alice's who as they develop them are put through tests to see how well they can adapt. As each one is awaken & put to the test they slowly progress further & further until Dr. Isaacs thinks he's got the right amount to build up his army. I tell you this because at the end of the film, when she is telling the Tokyo office that she is coming to get them, she says that she will be "Bringing a few friends" So Yes, A Giant army of clone Alice's. There is one great scene however involving infected Ravens and/or Crows attacking & killing a large chunk of the survivors. Pretty awesome scene although it's ruined by Alice showing up & pretty much just one quick movement killing all of them. Newest editions of Ali Larter & Spencer Locke add to the hot women factor. Oded Fehr is always good in actions films, he's the best part of this one even for his limited role.
