Review:
OK first off, I LOVE the concept of this film. It to me is incredibly original & kept me intrigued the whole time. Sure maybe found footage films are getting over used & lame, but the story in this one makes up for it. Now the acting might not be great, but the concept is that it is suppose to be realistic & non-actors. The three leads, two are very realistic & convincing, the third however is way over the top as a normal human being & is trying slightly harder to act like what he's not. The production value was slightly low but it didn't always show. There were some incredible shots that were great but then there were shots that just looked terrible. Especially the scene where they are throwing the football around in the air & when they first learn that they can fly. The comedy wasn't great but it was there. I loved the story because it became very dark & took a turn that was awesome. I've always said that if I ever got super human powers, I would 100% become a super villain & not a hero. The climax was really good, it had great ability to draw you into what side your on & how difficult it could be to be a teenager with all this power & all the drama & emotions that you deal with throughout your life. Supporting role of Andrew's father, played by Michael Kelly was the best role in the entire film. Powerful, believable & intense. Overall it was a good action film with some drama thrown in. Final scenes are very well done.
