Synopsis:
"Rubber" is the story of Robert, an inanimate tire abandoned in the desert that suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses terrifying telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to prey on small desert creatures and various discarded objects, his attention soon turns to humans, especially a beautiful and mysterious woman who crosses his path. Leaving a swath of destruction across the desert landscape, Robert becomes a chaotic force to be reckoned with, and truly a movie villain for the ages.

Review:
We'll you are lucky, you get your 2nd INCOMPLETE!!! Following up Flawless, but this one was an Incomplete for a different reason. The film is exactly as the synopsis tells you. It's main character is a rubber tire, who discovers the ability to telepathically make things explode. That was what drew me to the movie. Hey maybe this will be something different, something hilariously absurd & ridiculous. But instead it turned out to be on a whole new level of artsy farsty bullshit. The film is about a group of people who are all "film fans" watching the tire from within the movie. Yes you heard me, they are in a film, about watching the film Rubber as it happens. They are back packing & hiking along behind the tire as it goes through the movie. There is minimal to no acting from anything happening around the actual tire. Had the production value of any independent artsy film. Moving the tire around one it's own was well done & interesting, but really not enough to make me last through the whole thing. It just got to annoying & stupid watching the group of film fans watching the film happen without actually being involved. I think I made it about 35 minutes in before shutting it off. I will not be trying to watch it again. FAIL!
