Review:
Another first for me, as this is the first film I'm going to review that is currently in theaters. I try very hard to look at films in a positive manner. Its so easy to just crap all over everything or love everything. If you saw the first Ghost Rider (2007) then you've seen a lot of this one. Although there are a few differences in the appearance & powers of Ghost Rider. The CGI in this film gives Ghost Rider a more natural look than in the first one with the flames looking less cartoonish & more realistic. His attire appears much more realistic as well, as the jacket is melting as Blaze is in his Ghost Rider form. I Saw this film in 3D because that was all they offered it up as in theaters. I am NOT a fan of 3-D movies for two reasons: A: I have to wear 3-D glasses over regular glasses which is a pain in the butt & 2: There was nothing in this movie that needed to be in 3-D that they actually put in 3-D. Oh look some dirty flew up off the road when he pulled away on his motorcycle. Oh look the tiniest bit of flame is popping out of the screen. OOOOO. You know for a country who is terrible economic state they sure do love to spend ass loads of money on things that don't need to be spent on. Now the only thing that wasn't different from the first film was the greatest actor of our generation (or any generation) "Academy Award Winner" Nicolas Cage. This man has made some of the most courageous career choices when it comes to movies. This one, could be very close to the top of the list. The single greatest moments in this film are Cage's wild & outlandish transformations from hair reseeding Johnny Blaze to Flame Face Ghost Rider. His acting puts everyone else in the movie to shame. A man who I am a big fan of, Idris Elba, has a fun role as a french bounty hunter who aids the Rider. Also friend of the show Christopher Lambert makes a cameo appearance as a white Hakushi (YES 2nd Pro Wrestling Reference!!).

S.P.R.: C+/38
Acting: 7/10
