Review:
A movie that I knew very little about, especially because I had it confused with "Flesh Gordon". Obviously with the re-emergence of Sam J. Jones in "Ted" it gave new life to this 80's sci-fi cult classic. This is the big fat stinky Gouda of cheesy movies. Filled with silly costumes & make up, horribly choreographed fight scenes & the silliest of other worldly creatures & planets it actually was quite enjoyable. Legendary Hollywood actor Max von Sydow is hilariously weird in the role of the evil Emperor Ming. Then you have James Bond (or I should say A James Bond) Timothy Dalton as the Prince Barin. It was fun to watch if you can get past how completely stupid it is, how lack luster the writing & plot are & how completely unwatchable the fight scenes are. Not to mention a soundtrack done by Queen always helps out your cause.
